Christmas Processional at St. Mary Parish

during Christmas Eve Mass 6:00 PM (Tuesday December 24, 2019)

St. Mary Catholic Faith Community (through the Catholic Formation Office) invites ANY child (ages indicated on descriptions of roles) to participate in the processional at the 6:00 pm Christmas Eve Mass (Arrival time 5:30 pm)

THERE WILL BE A BRIEF REHEARSAL PRIOR on Sunday December 22 from 12:30 to 1:00 pm -- meet in the Gathering Space.

The Procession is in need of: (select all that you are interested: KINDLY read through the options & description for each part) *

Shepherds (Age 4 and older; NEED TO PROVIDE OWN COSTUME. Simple costume of bathrobe & some type of headpiece - like a cloth napkin/sweat band to keep the headpiece in place. Shepherds may bring own/personal walking staff.

Angels (Age 4 and older: NEED TO PROVIDE OWN COSTUME. Simple costume of white or cream colored dress OR top & pants in white or cream, a set of wings and a halo (optional)

Kings (Quantity: 3; Age 7 and older; PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: If your child is interested in being a KING in the processional, kindly check the box. When the Sign-Up closes at end of school day, TUESDAY DECEMBER 17, the names will be drawn & families will be notified via email on Wednesday 12/18. If your child is not selected, then be prepared to have an alternate costume ready.

Mary (Quantity 1; Age 6 and older; PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: If your child is interested in being MARY in the processional, kindly check the box. When the Sign-Up closes at end of school day, TUESDAY DECEMBER 17, the names will be drawn & families will be notified via email on Wednesday 12/18. If your child is not selected, then be prepared to have an alternate costume ready.)

Joseph (Quantity 1; Age 6 and older; PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: If your child is interested in being JOSEPH in the processional, kindly check the box. When the Sign-Up closes at end of school day, TUESDAY DECEMBER 17, the names will be drawn & families will be notified via email on Wednesday 12/18. If your child is not selected, then be prepared to have an alternate costume ready.

PARENT ASSISTANCE (with the rehearsal on the Sunday prior as well as with the pre-processional gathering / minimal final costume assistance / candle distribution in the Meeting Room off of the Gathering Space. Time Commitment - 5:30 pm till gathering candles after conclusion of Mass)
