The Golden Pride Learning Community is a group of likeminded students who want to succeed in higher education. Students will study, socialize, and gain resources together.

As a member of the Learning Community, students are required to:

Attend Weekly Study Sessions with the Golden Pride Learning Community
Study Jams will be held:
You only have to attend two sessions. You can attend any combination of sessions each week. It does not have to be at the same session each week, whatever works best for your schedule is okay!
Attend Monthly Community-Building Hangouts

The linked course is not required. Students also have the option to register for linked courses. If students decide to register for these courses, they must enroll in them together:

COUN G105 (CRN 24019): M/W 7:50-9:15 a.m.
ENGL C1000E (CRN 22164) M/W 9:30-12:40 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: The classes are optional and not required for participation in the Golden Pride Learning Community. You can still be part of the Learning Community even if you are unable to enroll in these courses. Please meet with a GWC Academic Counselor prior to registering.

Students in the Learning Community may either identify as LGBTQIA2S+ or consider themselves as strong allies; however, the Learning Community is open to all students.
