Day of Caring 2022 - Greater Littleton Interfaith Council
The Greater Littleton Interfaith Council is an interfaith non-profit group which has been working and serving in the Littleton area for several decades. The Council exists to help the constituent churches carry out their united activities, and support each other’s efforts, to advance the spiritual, moral, and social welfare of the community. We also believe strongly in providing service and support to all members of our local community, regardless of their affiliation (or lack thereof) with any of our church congregations.
One of the ways we accomplish our mission is by sponsoring several community events each year, including this Day of Caring, which the Council has sponsored for several years.
We invite you to join us for the 2022 Day of Caring on Saturday, May 7th (rain date May 21) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, as we spend the morning serving our neighbors. We will be helping seniors in our community with spring clean-up and basic yard work. Anyone is welcome to participate, and all ages are welcome to join (we often have families - even those with young children - sign up to participate, along with teens and young adults).
Meet at 9:00 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Anne Catholic Church (75 King St, Littleton, MA 01460) to receive your group assignment and directions to your work site, following a brief welcome - including getting to know your work group - everyone will be depart for their work sites, located elsewhere in the community.
Please bring work gloves and any equipment listed below that you sign-up to bring. Job assignments will be made based on your survey answers, taking into account your personal preferences as much as possible. We hope you have a safe and fulfilling experience participating in this wonderful event.
