Artist Accelerator - Residency Application
Deadline is Sept. 5, 2019 at 6pm.

The minimum age to participate is 18 years old. A residency agreement and liability waiver is required upon acceptance. There are 6 residencies available, 4 at The Arts Center and 2 offsite in Downtown Corvallis. 2 artists will be chosen for each studio space, 2D/Painting, Ceramics, and Open Media (Please see theartscenter.net/artists-in-residence for more details). Accepted artists will be notified by Sept. 17, 2019. Residency begins Sept. 30 2019 and runs through Dec. 20, 2019. There will be a Residency Exhibit Feb. 19 - March 14, 2019 which will showcase the works created by the 2019 Residents.

The Details:

2D Studio:
Cost: $800/resident
2 artists share a ~300 sq. ft. space w/ ~150 sq. ft. each
Including 24/7 access, water, electricity, heat, easels, tables, some tools & supplies, internet, chairs, and restrooms
Professional development lectures offered by The Arts Center
1 Artist Meetup offered by The Arts Center per month of residency
Residency progress meetings throughout

Ceramic Studio:
Cost: $800
2 artists share a ~400 sq. ft. space w/ ~200 sq. ft. each
Including 24/7 access, water, electricity, heat, easels, tables, some tools & supplies, internet, chairs, and restrooms
Professional development lectures offered by The Arts Center
1 Artist Meetup offered by The Arts Center per month of residency
Residency progress meetings throughout
Artists purchase own glazes (Δ06 or Δ5/6)
Additional costs for firing not included

Open Media:
Cost: $800/resident
2 artists share a ~300 sq. ft. space w/ ~150 sq. ft. each
Including 24/7 access, water, electricity, heat, easels, tables, chairs, and restrooms
