BHS After-School Program Interest/Need Form
Greetings BHS students, parents, and teachers! As you may know, our vision at Buford High School is to build "The Ideal Buford Graduate," one that is equipped with the world class knowledge, skills, and character that will allow for each graduate to be successful beyond the walls of BHS. We explain to students all of the time that we will not apologize for having high expectations for them as students. However, we also explain to our student body that it is our task to support each of them in reaching those expectations!

At BHS, we realize that many students need support beyond the 90 minutes that exists for each of their core academic classes. In an effort to best support our students and their needs, we will begin an after-school program that seeks to provide additional support in the areas of Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. The program will take place from 3:45 to 4:45 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The program will begin on Tuesday, September 4th in the BHS cafeteria. In addition, transportation will be made available to those students for whom bus travel is their only way home from school at the end of the day. A student must live within the Buford Attendance Zone in order to be eligible to receive transportation.

The purpose of this form is for you to submit your interest in this program, whether you are a parent or student. We would also like for teachers to fill out this same form on the behalf of the students that they know would greatly benefit from the additional time and support here at BHS. Please take a moment to answer the questions below. Your responses will allow us to plan accordingly as we work together to make this a program that successfully meets the needs of our students here at BHS.

We are very excited about what this program will mean for the BHS student body! We look forward to the positive impact that will come about as a result of our partnering together to achieve academic excellence at Buford High School!

Please contact us here at BHS with any questions that you may have regarding our after-school program. Our phone number is (803) 286-7068. Thank you for your time! We are looking forward to a wonderful year!
