Zážitkové konferenční příspěvky jsou součástí 3. ročníku konference WOMEN IN ART_what is well pořádané kulturním centrem CO.LABS. WOMEN IN ART_what is well je dvouletý výzkumně-komunitní projekt, který ideově navazuje na konferenci WOMEN IN ART. Jeho cílem je podpora a péče o lidi působící v kulturním sektoru a mapování problémů, se kterými se v rámci výkonu svých profesí potýkají.
Zážitkový konferenční příspěvek je interaktivní formát, který zapojuje účastníky*ice skrze tělesnou zkušenost, dialog a přímou participaci. Namísto pasivního poslouchání nabízí možnost prožít dané téma na vlastní kůži a sdílet ho v kolektivním prostoru. Tematicky se v letošním roce konference zaměří na téma well- beingu v pracovním prostředí, kolektivní péči, sebepéči a pracovní podmínky v kulturním sektoru.

Anotace konferenčního zážitkového příspěvku:
Společná procházka jako participativní rituál, kde se tanec ve svém jednoduchém gestu stává současně prací i odpočinkem. Ve veřejném prostoru a přírodě se setkáme u jednoduchých cvičení – skrz chůzi, ticho nebo povídání u sdíleného čaje a buchty. Tato gesta zpomalování a péče otevírají prostor pro jiný druh setkání – odlehčený, ale zároveň hluboce politický.
Příspěvek vychází z letošního Symposia Dancetopia 2025, jehož hlavními tématy byly Regenerace & Ekologie. V tomto rámci jsme zkoumali*y, jak lze taneční praxi chápat nejen jako fyzickou práci a profesní výkon, ale také jako nástroj péče, well-beingu a kolektivní solidarity. Formát participativní procházky propojuje pohyb s komunitní zkušeností a otázkami, jak se kulturní pracovnice*pracovníci mohou starat o své tělo, vztahy i místo, ve kterém žijí.
Symposium Dancetopia je kurátorováno Katarínou Bakošovou, Nevou Guido, Breeanne Saxton a Alicou Minar. Příspěvek navazuje na zkušenosti z rezidence v ALTA Air Campu v Kounicích a performativního sdílení ve Studiu ALTA v Praze, kde jsme společně hledali*y způsoby, jak vnímat tělesné praxe ve vztahu k regeneraci, ekologii a udržitelnosti.

O umělkyni:
Alica Minar je slovenská choreografka, performerka a kurátorka působící v Praze a Berlíně. Ve své tvorbě směřuje diváctvo k intenzivním tělesným zážitkům a propojuje vizuální abstrakci s narací, humorem a poezií. Zabývá se společensky palčivými – často opomíjenými – tématy a zkoumá, jak choreografie, clowning, kostýmy a nahota proměňují vnímání těla. Své práce uvedla na českých i mezinárodních scénách. Kromě vlastní tvorby se věnuje kurátorství – od roku 2023 spoluvytváří program Symposia Dancetopia, Fest of Fools a od roku 2024 působí v programovém týmu Studia ALTA.

Experiential conference contributions are part of the 3rd edition of the WOMEN IN ART_what is well conference, organized by the cultural centre CO.LABS. WOMEN IN ART_what is well is a two-year research and community project building on the WOMEN IN ART conference. Its aim is to support and care for people working in the cultural sector and to map the challenges they face in their professional practice.
An experiential conference contribution is an interactive format that engages participants through bodily experience, dialogue, and direct participation. Instead of passive listening, it offers the possibility to embody a theme and share it in a collective space. This year, the conference focuses on well-being in the workplace, collective care, self-care, and working conditions in the cultural sector.

Collective walk as a participatory ritual, where dance in the form of a simple gesture becomes both work and rest. In public space and in nature, we will meet through simple exercises such as walking, being in silence, or talking while sharing tea and cake. These gestures of slowing down and caring open a space for another kind of encounter – light-hearted, yet deeply political.
This contribution is based on this year’s Symposium Dancetopia, whose main themes were Regeneration & Ecology. Within this framework, we explored how dance and movement practice can be understood both as professional physical work and as a tool for nurturing, well-being, and collective solidarity. The participatory walk connects movement with collective experience and asks how cultural workers can care for their bodies, their relationships, and the spaces in which they live.
Symposium Dancetopia is curated by Katarína Bakošová, Nevoa Guido, Breeanne Saxton, and Alica Minar. This contribution grows out of experiences from a residency at ALTA Air Camp in Kounice and performative sharing at Studio ALTA in Prague, where we explored ways of perceiving physical practice in terms of regeneration, ecology, and sustainability.

About artist:
Alica Minar is a Slovak choreographer, performer, and curator currently based in Prague and Berlin. In her work, she invites audiences into intense bodily experiences, weaving together visual abstraction with narrative, humor, and poetry. She addresses socially pressing – and often overlooked – topics, exploring how choreography, clowning, costumes, and nudity can transform the perception of the body. Her work has been presented on both local and international stages. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as a curator: since 2023 she has been co-creating the Symposium Dancetopia, Fest of Fools, and since 2024 she has been a member of the programming team at Studio ALTA.
