In celebration of Pleasant Hills Community Day and America’s 250th anniversary, residents are invited to showcase their patriotic spirit by decorating their yards, porches, and outdoor spaces in red, white, and blue!

Residents may submit their own home or nominate a neighbor whose patriotic display deserves a little Pleasant Hills applause.  

NOTE: The nominated home MUST be located in Pleasant Hills Borough to be eligible.

Entries will be judged by members of the Pleasant Hills Garden Club’s - Garden of Distinction committee & members. Homes will be judged based on their creativity, community pride, and patriotic spirit that emulates the theme for our 2026 Community Day - "Let Freedom Ring in Pleasant Hills".

Submission period: NOW through Friday, July 31, 2026.

Awards/prizes announced: Pleasant Hills Community Day — Saturday, August 8, 2026
