Love Song Gathering: 2023 Registration Form
Hello, we are so excited for your interest in Love Song Gathering 2023.  We will be gathering September 14-17th, 2023. The event will be held on the same land as last year,  2932 Big Laurel Rd, Marshall, NC 28753.  
Please fill out the below form.  One application per person will be needed for your registration.  We will reply back to you with your acceptance.

Love Song Payment
Love Song is a gathering intended to be accessible and generous, which is why we are offering this gathering at a sliding scale, suggested $30-$40 per day and up.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds, and we gotta eat too! 

Proceeds cover the cost of 2 vegan, organic meals a day, port-a-potties, with the rest going to charity, and in very rare cases, travel expenses for song leaders (hoo boy, do we have some good ones this year). Bring your own bowls and cutlery!

We let many people last year in without charge and many children for free too. How great is that? Let's keep it up! Please consider paying more for someone who can't afford to.

Your spot is reserved once payment is received. ( If you send a message saying that you cannot pay, we will confirm you spot through email exchange). We have capacity for 200 people, first come first serve, after that you will placed on our wait-list (We will inform you if you have been placed on the waitlist. We will refund you as needed!)

What Community/Volunteer Shifts Can we Sign you up for?
This is a community led event and we need your help to make it happen!

Set up will be from September 12-13 and will require at least 10 people.  You can camp on the grounds and get the party started. You will be doing tasks such as setting up workshop spaces, setting up the kitchen, and land management. 

Pre Event Kitchen Crew will be coming up with the vegan and gluten free menu, writing out instructions and recipes for the kitchen crew,  coming up with the shopping list, sourcing and purchasing food, helping to transport food to the gathering, and organizing sorting each meal to an organized designated box.

Kitchen Crew will be for Lunch and Dinner and will require cooking.  We will give you the ingredients, recipe and instructions and you are executing it with a team of 4 other people during the event. Shifts are 3 hour time blocks during workshop times.  Lunch Shift is from 9AM-12PM.  Dinner Shift is from 2-5PM 

Childcare Crew allows momma's and pappa's to get a break to attend some workshops they may not be able to otherwise.  You will be watching up to 5-10 children with 3 other people. Shifts are during workshops for 2 hours.  

Break down will be on September 18th.  You will help to breakdown all community tents, transport tents and other items away from the land, and trash sweep/ leave no trace duties. You are able to camp overnight on the grounds that evening and leave the next day.  We require at least 15 people to help with the break down of our community retreat. 
Would you like to be available as an empathy angel or grief tender to those participants that may need support during the event?
As we move through this event, things may come up for our community.  We are considering making people identifier bracelets or badges that allow people to know you are accepting vulnerability and can be a supportive shoulder for those may need this during our event.
