JTF 2024 Audition Form
JTF Auditions will be held on Monday, August 26th and 27th at Encore Theatrical Company (2808 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).  Students in grades 6-12 are eligible to participate in this project. Students cast in this production will be required to participate in fundraisers to pay for the cost of their trip to the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA on January 17-20.   Students will also have the opportunity to tour with the Mary Poppins Jr show during the month of February (Dates TBD).   Please read through the information below and fill out the following form.  If you have any further questions, please email our stage manager, Toni Jill Cox, at tonijillc@yahoo.com,

JTF auditions will consist of:

1.  Each student will be required to prepare and perform 16- 32 bars of a musical theater song in the style of the show.  Each student will need to provide their own track and bluetooth speaker to play their music.  
2.  Students will need to wear comfy clothes and close-toed shoes to dance in.  They will be taught a portion of choreography at auditions and will perform in small groups for the production crew.
3.  Students will possibly be asked to do a cold read from the Mary Poppins Jr script.
4.  Each audition will last around an hour.  If callbacks are needed, we will let you know by Wednesday.   Callbacks will be virtual and students may be asked to sing a song from Mary Poppins Jr.

*Please note: we will attempt to limit audition groups to 10 students and each student only needs to audition on one night.*
