HORIZON360, our new reference grade DAC, base price 55 000 Euro (plus VAT inside EU)
The successor to Horizon1 DAC. Premiere in October 2024.
It was designed in an unprecedented effort, to challenge the world's best DACs like MSB, dCs, Kondo, Audio-Note, Wadax, Trinity and Aries Cerat.
What is standard: USB input - DSD 512x. PCM 768 kHz via USB or HDMI, via Rca S/PDIF input - up to 192 kHz, Taiko XDMI input as standard, premium Copper capacitors. Tube changing (rolling) is possible - see manual for details.
Each DAC, besides USB and S/PDIF, has AES/EBU, Toslink, HDMI-i2S and RJ45 -i2S and Taiko XDMI digital inputs, as well as two analog input acting like a passive preamp - one RCA and one fully balanced XLR.
Dac has tube diode rectifier (STRADI, Emission Labs, KR-Audio (KRON) or Sophia Electric or Psvane from 5U4G or 274B range. )
Balanced (Bal) or single ended (SE) circuits are both included as standard. Volume controlled (with remote and display) with volume-bypass function. The DAC is fully truly balanced from digital processing to output.
Horizon also has some luxury features like: exclusive flight case packing, Neutrik sockets, custom made Lampizator / Cynel premium silver solder, special Ogonowski chokes, teflon / ceramic /gold tube sockets, Premium audio grade electrolytes in power supply, silver point to point signal wiring in Teflon insulation, where applicable, with silver screens, 0,1% and 1,0% metalfilm resistors.
Each volume controlled DAC has a full CNC milled metal remote control handheld IR unit. The display uses first in the world application in high end audio of Nixie digital tubes in place of the typical LCD, LED or Oled displays. Besides looking great, Nixie offers unmeasurable noise levels many magnitudes lower than OLED or LCD displays with processors. We use exclusively ultra high end True Copper metal foil capacitors for series signal duties. The entire body is milled from slabs of solid aluminum 1 inch thick and the construction externally (visually) is screw-less.
Shipping weight is ca. 54 kg (110 lb) and waiting time - from order to shipping - 10 weeks.

WE STOCK THE BEST TUBES WE CAN FIND FROM CURRENT PRODUCTION AND WE WILL SUPPLY THIS DAC WITH THE BEST TUBE SELECTION. HOWEVER DUE TO COVID, TURBULENT TIMES IN THE INDUSTRY, SUPPLY CHAIN INTERRUPTIONS AND DEPLETED STOCKS WORLDWIDE, WE WILL NOT GIVE THE END USER THE CHOICE OF TUBES AND WE WILL SUPPLY OUR CHOICE.
OUR TUBE CHOICE IS BASED ON 4 YEARS OF LISTENING TO THE HORIZON ON THE PROTOTYPING AND DEVELOPMENT STAGE.
TRADE-IN program of partial payment with the old DAC for the Horizon has been exhausted and terminated October 01 2024.
