Wake Up Joraan's Orchard and Join Hands for Pollinators takes place at Prairie Horizons Farm, 31008 Hwy 29 Benson, MN on May 6th with an option to camp overnight until 10 am on May 7th. Let us know what activities you plan to attend, and if/how you'd be willing to help as a volunteer. RSVP by noon on Friday, May 5th, and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you! 1 - 4 PM Learn about pollinators, self-guided walking tours of farm, orchard and native prairie

Calling all volunteers! Please help in any of the following ways, or add something you'd like to do that we haven't thought of!

Physical site logistics, signage, directions, and parking (11 am - 1pm and/or 1-3 pm)

Food and beverage assembly and tending (11 am - 1 pm)

Welcome Table: nametags, overview farm map and schedule, questions (12- 2pm and/or 2-4 pm)

Kid-friendly, interactive pollinator education (1 - 3 pm)

Pollinator identification in the field and/or I-Naturalist training for attendees (1 - 3 pm)

Pollinator educational display and/or materials ( display from 1 - 5 pm)

Plant, native prairie and pollinator habitat education (2 - 4 pm)

Food and beverage assembly and tending (4 pm - 6 pm)

I can volunteer for anything needed on May 6th...surprise me!

Car poolers! Please list the names of everyone who will be traveling to the farm in your vehicle. You will be our contact for your pool, so no need to register them separately.

Campers! Please list the names of everyone planning to camp overnight on the farm. You will be our contact for your camping group so no need to register everyone separately. Accessible bathroom, shared kitchen and shelter available for inclement weather.
