Flagpole Program
The Veterans Network Committee of Northern Illinois &  Home Depot have joined forces to honor our Veterans by placing an American Flag in their yard to honor their service to our country.

How the Flagpole program works
1. Home Depot will reach out to find out where you would like the flag installed on your property
2. You will need to call 811 to schedule "Julie -before you dig" an appt or submit a request on line: https://www.illinois1call.com/contact/
3. Once Julie has come out, Home Depot will need to be notified so they can schedule a time to install the flagpole.  You do not need to be home during the installation process.
4. You will be asked if you wish to have an insignia or inscription put in the concrete.  This step is CRITICAL and needs to be known BEFORE the concrete sets.
5. A water supply will be necessary for the installation/concrete.
6. The VNC will then notify you to set up a time to come to your home for the flag raising ceremony.
