The Rider acknowledges and agrees that participation in road cycling, mountain biking and related events is inherently dangerous and that the Rider has full knowledge of the nature of such sports, the risks involved in training for and competing in such sports and individually accepts the risk of damage to property, physical injury or death as a result of such participation. The Rider acknowledges that cycling requires physical conditioning and represents he/she is in sound medical condition, and has no physical or medical impediment which would endanger him/ her or others.
RIDER HEREBY RELEASES, ACQUITS AND FOREVER DISCHARGES Cedar Bluff Cycles, ITS MEMBERS AND MANAGERS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, SPONSORS, PROMOTERS, CLUBS, VOLUNTEERS AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY “RELEASES”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH RIDER’S PERFORMANCE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT OR OTHERWISE THE RIDER SHALL PROTECT, INDEMNIFY AND SAVE HARMLESS THE RELEASES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL EXPENSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, SUITS, ACTIONS, JUDGMENTS, AND COSTS WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS’ FEES, ARISING OUT OF, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH, THE ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS OF THE ATHLETE, OR ANY CLAIM OR ACTION FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY OR OTHER CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE RIDER’S PERFORMANCE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT

Monthly Weekend RideThis mountain bike ride is geared toward Level 2 riders and above who are comfortable riding single-track with some small obstacles and hills for 6 to 12 miles (with smiles!). There will be climbing, but you will be rewarded with fun descents! The goal of this ride is to have fun with other ladies, work on your skills and get comfortable on that may be new to you. Each month's ride will be at a different location and depending on the number of attendees, there may be several groups with leads and sweeps. The pace will be casual and we'll break often for hydration and photos.
2nd Thursday Greenway RideThis bike ride is geared toward Level 2 riders and above who are comfortable riding on a greenway or designated bike lane on the road. There may be some climbing, but we'll plan routes to avoid big hills! Pace will be casual so we can chat and laugh. Frequent stops for photos and hydration will be taken.
4th Thursday Mountain Bike RideThis mountain bike ride is geared toward Level 2 riders and above who are comfortable riding single-track with some small obstacles and hills for 6 to 12 miles (with smiles!). There will be climbing, but you will be rewarded with fun descents! The goal of this ride is to have fun with other ladies, work on your skills and get comfortable on that may be new to you. Each month's ride will be a little different and allow for ride length and difficulty to be tailored to the attendees. The pace will be casual and we'll break often for hydration and photos.
Monthly Flow Ride at Baker Creek PreserveThis mountain bike ride is geared toward Level 3 riders and above (or Level 2 riders who want to have a guided tour of the trails at Baker Creek Preserve). Ride will be no-drop, casual pace and we will typically ride a combination of Sycamore Loop, Red Bud Crest, Floyd Fox and Cruz Valley Run. We may also ride Best Medicine for a more challenging climb and descent. Ride will vary depending on what you want! The goal of this ride is to familiarize riders with these trails, build confidence and skill while climbing and descending and have fun with other ladies. Ride length will be 5 to 10 miles. Frequent stops for photos/video and hydration will be taken.
Make sure you have water and snacks! There will be plenty of snack and hydration breaks! Plan to be riding for about two hours with each of these rides.
LEVELS - Please note these descriptions are geared toward mountain biking. Greenway rides will be suited to all levels.
Level 2 - Easy-paced rides suitable for those who are familiar with their bikes. Our goal is to try some climbing and descending on moderate grade, hard-packed fire roads and firm double-track. We will re-group as necessary to rest, hydrate and teach skills on the trail. Distances may be up to 12 miles. Plan to be out for 2-3 hours. Pre-ride clinics may be available.
Level 3 - Casually paced rides ideal for advanced beginners ready for some small obstacles, steeper hills, more miles and fewer rests. We will re-group as necessary to hydrate and teach skills on the trail. Trails may include steeper dirt/gravel road climbs and descents, double and single-track that introduce obstacles. Distances may be up to 15 miles. Plan to be out for 3 hours.
Level 4 - Casually paced rides ideal for riders who are comfortable with fast descending and single track climbs who feel ready to kick it up a notch. Trails may include moderately steep or rutted fire/gravel road climbs and descents, single-track, obstacles and technical features. These rides are designed to build your stamina. Distances may be 15 miles or more. Plan to be out for about 3 hours.
