MAY EARTH DAY EVENT - CLEAN VANOWEN OF LITTER: TOPANGA CANYON BLVD TO VINELAND

Event Time: 9am - 11am
Location: You will be assigned a street prior to the event by a VCC Leader

THIS IS A FIRST! BE PART OF IT!

Please be early for refreshments and to get tools / shirt and teams!

We will be clearing the litter from VANOWEN starting from Topanga Canyon Blvd all the way to Vineland - 13-1/2 miles of street! All in a 2 hour period using volunteers who want to help to get the streets clean and send a message that if we work together, we can accomplish amazing things!

You will be assigned a street / partner to work with as you start at 9:00am to clean both sides of the assigned street going east and west - ridding the curb, sidewalk and planters of all litter. You pick up everything that is not organized (cigarette butts, cups, paper, car accident parts, screws, cans, togo materials, straws, etc.).

All bags will be secured by tying the top flaps and then placed near the curb against a pole of some kind for easy pick up. If you can group the bags together, that is even better.
