The camp organizer role might be someone with a vision or the desire to gather others and start an epic camp! And one of those humans might be you!
This role will have a pretty high level of responsibility, administrative work, some space holding, recruiting, building a simple web page perhaps and a bunch more. You totally don’t have to do it alone! You can organize a camp with another one or two homies if you feel like you can work well together. You will also work closely with us as the organizing team to both build deep connections with us but also for us to support you in prepping your camp logistically and culturally. Essentially, the camp organizer is the first one recruiting the rest of their camp mates and supporting them into orienting into their roles.
A Note on Camps
Camps can gather around specific themes or topics, like the one's below.
Some Potential Camp Themes (for inspiration of themes, obviously the camp names can be more creative and fun)
- Permaculture camp
- Movement Camp
- Natural Building Camp
- Conscious Communication Camp (Communicamp?)
- Nature Reconnection camp
or camps can gather around a group of people wanting to practice living together with specific visions and values. This might be living on an eco-village or designing a co-housing experience after community lab etc. In that case, a camp name would be a totally unique name to your group.
So you can understand a bit more, we recommend camps to have a maximum of 12 people and a
minimum of 6
After filling out this application form, we’ll reach out in the next week or two, where we will schedule a chat to hear more about you and to give you more information about the role to see if its a good fit.
Please take some time to read the following questions. You’re invited to really take a moment to enquire and ask yourself deeply before answering. No answer is too long (actually the more you share, the better we get to feel you).
Looking forward to possibly building a culture with you. What!???
With Love
