Purpose/Mission: The mission of VRHS Purple PEARLS is to provide female students at VRHS with an organization aimed at strengthening their social and emotional wellness, developing plans to meet short and long term academic and career goals, educating students on etiquette and social graces, and the importance of service to their community.
Specific Goals: The VRHS Purple PEARLS aim is to be:
P- Passionate about finding our purpose in life
E- Engaged in our education at VRHS
A- Ambitious about our future: Enroll, Enlisted, or Employed
R- being Respectful and Reliable
L- Leaders in our school, community, and family through community service
S- Serious about our social and emotional wellbeing and sincere about respecting the social and emotional wellbeing of our peers.
Membership Responsibilities
As a member, your responsibilities are:
Students are required to maintain a C average in all class and/or working towards meeting academic goals.
Students are required to maintain a respectful attitude with teachers, administrators, and peers.
Students are required to complete at least 2 community service projects with the Purple Pearls.
Students are required to attend at least 1 meeting out of the two meetings offered each month.
Students are required to attend professional and personal growth sessions, at least 1 for every month.
Students are required to report any disciplinary referrals to club sponsors within 24 hours.
Students are required to meet expectations as outlined in the VRHS Student Code of Conduct.
(These requirements will go into effect during the 2020-2021 school year). Last day to apply is Friday, April 10th.
