TRU-UE Community BBQ RSVP

Teachers and Researchers United (TRU-UE), the graduate worker labor union at Johns Hopkins University is hosting a community BBQ on July 22nd at 1PM in Patterson Park, near the observatory! We would love for Baltimore community organizers and unions from all over the city to join us to help make it memorable. 

As a union currently undergoing our first contract negotiations, we understand that we’ll only win what we are organized to take, and we believe that as a community we can organize to improve far more than our own individual labor conditions. As workers at Hopkins, our union believes that JHU administrators owe the Baltimore community so much more, and our union is just one force in achieving that. Please join us to celebrate that Baltimore is a union town!

Families, kids, pets are welcome and encouraged! We'll have games, music, and lots of solidarity.
