Assalamu alaykum dear sisters,

The purpose of this form is to reserve a spot at Al-Firdaus for salah. This is not limited for Jummah prayers only but extends to any congregational prayer too (subject to the availability of someone with the masjid keys). Why we have this form:
For practical reasons. As the masjid is mainly used by brothers, often there needs to be utilised all the space available. To make the experience for our sisters as smooth as possible, we would like to kindly ask them to let us know in advance through this form if they would like to join us in prayer at Al-Firdaus. This way we can make sure to accommodate for them appropriately (e.g. prepare the study room or main hall for sisters to use) and let brothers at the masjid know in advance so that they do not enter the sisters' spaces accidentally.


Where you can pray:
Currently there are two spaces available for prayer at Al-Firdaus. The main prayer hall is mainly used by the brothers but can accomodate for sisters as well. Due to the orientation of the room, the sisters' space is located next to the brothers' section and is separated by a curtain. We recommend this prayer area mainly for occassions, in which only a small number of sisters decide to join the prayer as the space can hold around 6-8 places by estimate. At the same time, Al-Firdaus also offers its study room, which is situated opposite the main prayer hall and thus is more separated. It can also hold around 15-20 people by estimate. Clean prayer mats are readily available for anyone who would like to pray here.

Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying; Do not prevent your women from visiting the mosque; but their houses are better for them (for praying).

Tento formulář slouží k rezervaci modlitebního místa v Al-Firdaus. Rezervace se nevztahuje pouze na pravidelné páteční modlitby džumma, ale zahrnuje rovněž veškeré ostatní společné modlitby (konané v závislosti na přítomnosti členů OMC s přístupem do modlitebny). Proč máme tento formulář:
Z praktických důvodů. Vzhledem k tomu, že modlitebna je frekventovaná především našimi bratry, často je potřeba využít veškerých dostupných prostorů. Abychom sestrám co nejvíce usnadnili jejich pobyt v Al-Firdausu, chtěli bychom je laskavě požádat, aby nám s časovým předstihem sdělili svůj zájem o účast na modlitbě prostřednictvím tohoto formuláře. Takto můžeme prostory náležitě přizpůsobit (např. připravit k modlitbě studovnu či vyhradit prostory v hlavní místnosti), a zároveň na tuto skutečnost upozornit bratry, aby omylem nevstoupili do prostoru sester.


Kde se lze modlit:
V současnosti Al-Firdaus disponuje dvojicí modlitebních prostor. Hlavní modlitební místnost je frekventována zejména bratry, nicméně dokáže být uzpůsobena rovněž pro sestry. Vzhledem k orientaci místnosti jsou prostory pro sestry umístěny vedle mužské sekce a odděleny závěsem. Tuto možnost doporučujeme zejména v případech, kdy se modlitby účastní pouze menší počet sester, vzhledem k tomu, že daný prostor je schopen pojmout odhadem 6-8 lidí. Al-Firdaus zároveň nabízí k využití i jeho studovnu, která je umístěna naproti hlavní modlitební místnosti, a tudíž je i více oddělena. Tyto prostory může odhadem využít 15-20 věřících. Čisté modlitební koberečky jsou k dispozici pro každého, kdo by zde chtěl vykonat modlitbu.

Ibn 'Umar uvedl, že Posel Boží (ﷺ) řekl: Nebraňte svým ženám v návštěvě mešity, avšak jejich domy jsou pro ně (pro modlitbu) lepší.
