SALA Artist Interest Form

The South Asian Literature and Art Festival is a path-breaking, multi-disciplinary conversation that debuted in 2019. This year the festival is scheduled for Oct 7 - 8, 2023 and we are in the process of finalizing the programming. 

The theme for SALA 2023

The theme for this year's festival is 'Changing the Narrative'. It is important for Art Forum SF's mission that stories and perspectives are heard from different points of view. And we would like to extend the same theme to our approach to featuring Artists as well. 

Who are we looking for?

We want to emphasize the transformative power of South Asian Art, which not only honors our cultural heritage but also caters to the evolving tastes and preferences of the diverse communities we serve. You have ambitions to capture the attention of a global audience and challenge preconceived notions about South Asian culture. Through your refreshing and authentic approach to your Art, you are redefining what it means to be rooted in a fast-paced, interconnected world, and showcasing the rich diversity and creative potential of South Asian communities.

The 2023 roster is already being finalized, but we would love to hear from you. We will be in touch in case an opportunity opens up for the October or future events. Either way, we'll add you to our artist roster so you may learn about future Art Forum opportunities.
