SJSM Honors Competition registration
With private instructor approval, intermediate through advanced levels may audition for judges from the regional music community who are highly-respected adjudicators, teachers, and performers. Six minutes is the maximum time, three minutes the minimum time allowed for performance.
Memorization is required for piano, strings, voice, guitar (not brass and winds).
Audition registration form must be accompanied by $20 (non-refundable) fee which helps pay the judges. Payment can be submitted by check, or call 651-690-4364 to pay by credit card.
Provide full program information (title, movement, tempo, composer, dates). For auditions that require accompaniment, please turn in the score at the time of registration.
There will be two divisions for piano and violin/viola – intermediate and advanced. For all other instruments there will be one division.
*see audition and registration deadline dates below
You will be notified regarding your time slot for your audition.
