Submit film to Home Made Film Nite
Home Made Film Nite is an open mic for filmmakers. Bring your short films, comedy sketches, music videos, visual poems, trailers, and everything in between. No matter your experience level, no matter how many people are on your crew, no matter what equipment you use, all are welcome to network and enjoy this thing we all love: making and watching movies!

IMPORTANT INFO:

Submit films online anytime between Saturday, July 27, through Saturday, August 24. The event is free to submit to, but $10 to attend. Proceeds go to pay for the venue and amenities. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 19. Buy tickets online via the Facebook event page. A date, time, and location for submissions to be made physically will be announced closer to the event if content is still needed. Films will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until a 120-minute runtime is reached. However, preference will be given to films shorter than 10 minutes in length. Additional preference will be given to films that consist of a cast or crew that is largely Alaskan, were filmed in Alaska, haven't screened in Alaska before, and whose filmmakers will be present at the time of screening. We'll do our best to notify submitters in a timely fashion if their film is included in the line-up. Screening a film at this event should not affect its premiere status in film festivals. An Audience Choice Award will be given to the film that receives the most votes at the end of the show, so invite as many people as you can! Trailers for larger projects are not eligible to win. This is an all ages screening, but parental discretion is advised due to the uncensored and unknown nature of the films. Violence, swearing, nudity, and crude humor are all possibilities. No pornography, commercials, or fundraisers.
