GCC2015 Scholarship Application

The Galaxy Project is offering registration + lodging scholarships for the 2015 Galaxy Community Conference, being held in Norwich UK, July 4-8 (http://gcc2015.tsl.ac.uk/). These scholarships are available to US-based students and post-docs in historically under-represented groups. These scholarships will cover registration and lodging during the GCC Meeting (7-8 July), and for any additional Training Days or Hackathons the applicant chooses to attend. The scholarships do not cover travel or other expenses.

Applicants are required to
1) Submit a poster abstract (http://bit.ly/gcc2015sub) by May 1
2) Have a faculty member / PI send a letter of recommendation to community-fund@lists.galaxyproject.org no later than May 15.
3) Submit this application form by May 1
4) Have sufficient funds to cover their own travel and other expenses

BEFORE submitting this application, please submit your poster abstract, and identify and ask a faculty member to write a letter of recommendation.

The deadline for submitting abstracts and applications is May 1. Applicants will be notified of their scholarship status no later than May 19.
