St. John's Farmers' Market Cooperative - Community Table Request Form - 2021
The St. John's Farmers' Market is happy to announce the availability of
THE COMMUNITY TABLE
- a prominent 6ft table space at the SJFM available by request to:
- Non-Profit organizations
- Community Groups
- Sports Teams
Every week at the SJFM, will be providing one table at the Saturday Market for community groups, non-profits, school teams, and any other community minded organizations. This table will be free of charge!
Our aim is to create lots of exposure and provide space for all the groups doing awesome things in our community.
At this table, groups will be permitted to do things such as:
- Provide information on your group or activity
- Request donations
- Sell raffle tickets (MUST have a valid lottery license from ServiceNL)
- Sell group merchandise (such as t-shirts, hats, calendars, etc.)
- Sign folks up for activities or events
- Sell tickets on an upcoming event
*** IMPORTANT ***
If you wish to sell food that is homemade, you will be required to have a ServiceNL Food License.
Please note that in accordance with our policies, the St. John's Farmers' Market is non-religious and apolitical. Groups wishing to use the Community Table for business, political, or faith-based activities are not able to be approved. The SJFM also reserves the right to deny requests by groups that do not align with our core values of diversity, inclusivity, and social justice.
All vendors, staff, and community participants of the SJFM are required to wear a non-medical face mask at all times during Market Day, and all groups must provide hand sanitizer at their table.
