A pest management operator is someone whose service includes the use of pesticides and chemicals to treat a variety of pest issues.
The Association's Membership Categories are as follows:
An individual (company) that is duly registered in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago (pest control, gardening and landscaping, maintenance, janitorial, etc.) that provides pest control of any kind, be it chemical, mechanical, consultancy or otherwise as part of their services for remuneration. General Member is the only class of membership that has voting rights and has access to the full range of products and services of the Association.
(1) Any person directly employed in the pest management industry - technician, manager, sales person, office administration, etc., that wishes to join the Association independent of a company.
(2) Any person or company who has an interest in being a part of the Pest Management Association but does not offer any form of pest control to their customers. Please note, for landscaping and gardening service companies, fertilisers are NOT considered pesticides, and you can register as an Individual Member. However, should the person or company provide pest control of any kind, be it chemical, mechanical or otherwise, to treat clients' lawn, flowers, insects, blight, mealybug, mole crickets, ants, etc., they are eligible for General Membership.
Any state agency, e.g. Public Health Inspectorate, Regional Corporations, Insect Vector Control, EMA, etc.
Companies that do not provide pest control service to others but may run in-house pest control programmes.
Suppliers of goods and services to the pest management industry.
An individual as defined under “General Member” but is registered and based in a jurisdiction outside of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago.
