60-Minute Seminar: Assessment in Ensemble Classes - August 17, 2020 (9:00 - 10:00 am)
This workshop is intended for music educators of students in grades 5-12.

DESCRIPTION:
Whether you are teaching students face-to-face or in a distance learning situation, start the new school year with fresh ideas for assessing student learning in music! In each of these focused seminars, we will look at different types of assessment tasks and multiple tools we can create for student reflection, giving feedback, and documenting achievement. Take away several examples you can use or adapt for your classroom.

EVENT LOCATION: This is an online seminar. A Zoom link will be provided prior to the seminar.

There is no cost for this workshop, and 1 CEU hour is earned. The seminar is taught by Dr. Wendy Barden, Music Education Specialist in Professional Development & Resource Programs at Perpich Center for Arts Education. Registration is limited to 19 people. There will be a wait list.
