Propel SEL Community Conversations
Sprockets invites you to join us to shape the conversation about how our network can best support social emotional learning and development (SEL) in youth. We will host community conversations in October with youth work practitioners, leaders in youth development and out-of-school time learning, and other stakeholders across the city.
There is a growing evidence base around the importance of SEL, and practitioners and the public are paying more attention to SEL. Youth development and out-of-school time programs have long supported SEL development in youth. Sprockets wants to lead a network-wide conversation around SEL to refine and declare our efforts to best support SEL outcomes in youth as a network. Note that that first two meetings are designed to give space for people from communities of color to discuss how SEL is understood differently in diverse cultural contexts.
Join us to add your voice to the conversation and help shape Sprockets! If you have any questions about the process, contact Erik Skold at
Which discussion are you planning to attend? (RSVP isn't necessary, and all sessions are open to all. We're just trying to get a sense of numbers for planning purposes.) **Please only register for ONE session**
