Thomas Dale High School Job Shadow Day
What is Job Shadow Day?
Job Shadow Day is a useful way for Thomas Dale High School students to have a hands on learning experience about various job interests. It involves spending time following a professional in that job for a period of time to get a hands on approach in a real world setting. This experience gives students a sense of what a particular occupation involves while also providing information as to the education or skills needed for these jobs.
*Thomas Dale students selected for Job Shadow Day will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the facility of our partner employers. These students will not be permitted to ride with other students unless a parental consent/waiver form has been submitted acknowledging this in writing by the parent of the student-driver and student passenger.
