NHSDC 2021 Fall Conference Session Proposal Form
We invite you to submit to present at the NHSDC Fall Conference being held IN PERSON in Atlanta on October 13th and 14th.
This year's theme is: "Resilience and Reinvention: Planning for a Brighter Future". We are looking for presentations that tell your community's story of how you used homeless and other human services data (public health, hospitals, benefits, justice data and beyond) to help keep people experiencing homelessness safe and how service delivery and engagement was adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic that has ravaged this country and the world since early 2020.
Proposer's Conference: We will be hosting a Proposer's Conference on Monday, July 12th, at 3:00 pm EDT, where Conference organizers will be available to answer questions. All interested parties are welcome to attend and may register for the Proposers Conference here -

Due Date: Session proposals are due by Wednesday, July 21st at 8:00 PM EDT. (UPDATE - now DUE by 8:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, July 28th)
Data Disaggregation: NHSDC is asking all presenters to, where possible, disaggregate data by race/ethnicity (at a minimum). We are committed as an organization to ensuring that data is used to promote equitable and anti-racist policies and practices in the systems we work with.
Commitment to Diversity: NHSDC recently released a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion statement that, among other things, affirms our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in our community of presenters. Please read more here:
Cost: Presenters chosen for the NHSDC Conference will be provided with a 25% registration discount to attend the conference. To qualify for the discounted registration, presenters must register for the conference by the registration deadline. Please note, the registration discount will be limited to three presenters. Selected presenters will be provided with a code for registration upon notification of selection.
Selection Policy: The Conference Committee reserves the right to request a modification of the proposed content, which may include asking presenters to alter their presentation or combine similar presentations submitted from other communities
Vendor Neutrality Policy: NHSDC offers a vendor-neutral conference. Sessions must not promote a specific company, product or service. Vendor-specific references, materials, and screenshots must be excluded from proposal and presentation materials.
