Morning sessions will be chosen through on-line voting in advance; afternoon sessions will be selected using a voting wall at ProductCamp. Thus, proposals that do not get enough votes to secure a morning session can be posted on the voting wall and may get selected for an afternoon session.
Rooms are equipped with whiteboards and screen projectors (bring your own laptop). If you plan to use (electronic) slides, we strongly recommend that you publish those on SlideShare.net before the event, and provide the SlideShare URL for your slide deck when you submit your session proposal.
WHAT IF I’M NOT REALLY AN EXPERT IN ANYTHING? Draw on the wisdom of the crowd! Some of the most popular sessions are facilitated discussions, in which the leader merely outlines the topic, and puts questions out for group discussion and debate.
CONSIDER PARTNERING: Sessions with more than one facilitator/presenter are usually preferred over those with a single leader, and if submitters of two similar proposals switch to a combined session, their chances of getting selected increase substantially. If you’re open to co-leading a session, select Yes or Maybe below, and we’ll look for like-minded people with whom you might want to collaborate. If you already have one or more co-leads for your session, please include the biographical information for each leader in the form below.
NEW THIS YEAR: Want to increase your chances of being selected? Why not record a 30-second pitch video for your session? We'll post the pitch videos from the ProductCamp Silicon Valley Twitter account!
Advance session proposal deadline: April 20thOnline voting starts: April 22nd Online voting concludes: May 5th
Submitted sessions will be acknowledged via email after submission, prior to the commencement of voting. In some cases, the organizing committee may propose to combine similar sessions.
