Intro
The Amps Community Ideas Fund is a cash award each October to kick-start a new collaboration between two or more Amps to benefit Dundee. More about the Amps Network here: http://creativedundee.com/amps/

50% of all Amps subscriptions goes towards the Fund and this year the total collected amount you can apply for is .

One project will be awarded the full fund. Amps decide which project to award the funding to. Funding and voting is open to all Amps wherever you are.

Community Ideas Fund 2018 Key Dates:
– Applications open:  6 September 2018

– To meet other Amps and find collaborators, join us at our next Amps Breakfast: 4 October, 8am – 9.30am

– Application deadline / deadline to become an Amp to be eligible to apply:  18 October 2018, midnight

– Amps Annual Forum 2018 / Community Ideas Funds awarded:  25 October 2018, evening.
Criteria for Application:
– Applications must be a collaboration between two or more members of the Amps community.

– The project must have creativity at the heart of it, whatever form it takes: visual arts, performance, design, digital media, print, public art/interventions, games design and more.

– This is a fund for an experimental collaborative project – to benefit the city!
How to apply step by step:
1. To be eligible, your idea needs to be a collaborative project, and all collaborators must be part of the Amps Network. Deadline to become an Amp to be eligible to apply to the 2018 Community Ideas Fund is Thursday 18th October 2018, midnight. More info on how to become an Amp here: http://creativedundee.com/amps/

2. To meet other Amps, find collaborators and develop ideas, join us at our next Amps Breakfast on 4 October, 8am – 9.30am at Agency of None. We’ll send an email closer to the date to confirm the city centre venue. You can also join the Amps Facebook Group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/212139862758523/

3. To submit your idea, simply complete this short online application form below and tell us briefly about your team and project. Application deadline for the 2018 Community Ideas Fund is Thursday 18th October 2018, midnight.

4. Amps decide which project to award the funding to, wherever you are! Your will present your ideas (which will be accessible online too) at the Amps Forum 2018 and Community Ideas Funds award on Thursday 25th October 2018, evening.
