FBC UPWARD Sports Ministry Scholarship Policy & Application
At FBC Upward Sports MOV, we don’t want the lack of funds to keep your child from participating in Upward Sports. Because of the generosity of the members of Fellowship Baptist Church we do have sponsor scholarships for children available. Unfortunately, we are limited to the number of scholarships we are able to offer. Scholarships are offered each season on a first come – first served basis.

Please be aware that many families do not easily come up with the money to pay for their child’s player fee, but they sacrifice and plan in order to make this possible. We would ask you to do the same. After reading this, if you would like to apply for a scholarship, please submit this application. Please note the following stipulations:

⦿ Applications must be turned in by the END OF EARLY REGISTRATION for the specified season.
⦿ If the athlete completes a full season with no more than one unexcused absence at practices or games, they will be eligible for future scholarships. However, if the attendance policy is not followed, a $25 charge will be assessed to your account and the athlete will not be eligible for any future scholarships with Upward Sports.
⦿ This scholarship only covers the basic athletic fee.
⦿ At the end of the season, the athlete will be asked to write a thank you note to express their appreciation for their sponsor’s gift allowing them to participate in Upward Sports. In the note, no last names will be given, just the child’s first name and age.
