SESEC Advocacy and Policy Cohort 2025

Applications are now closed! Please tune back in Fall 2026 for next cycle's application!

Program Information Page: https://www.sesecwa.org/advocacy-and-policy-cohorts/

The application is open to everyone but priority will be given to SESEC partners and/or BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), especially those who live and/or work in Southeast Seattle.

If there are multiple people from the same organization applying, we will initially limit 2 per organization to make space for other folks and place the rest of the folks from your organization on the wait-list.

Program Dates & Logistics

APC is FREE to attend. We ask that you commit to attending most (ideally all) sessions. If you’re unsure of this time commitment, contact liz@sesecwa.org before automatically opting out. We understand that things can come up and life happens, and consistent attendance contributes to the relationships within the cohort being stronger.

APC will be hosted IN-PERSON (If you need hybrid for some sessions, please email liz@sesecwa.org to discuss) at SESEC’s office at El Centro de la Raza (2524 16th Ave S, Suite 306, Seattle, WA 98144) on the following Thursdays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (Noon):

•   October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
•   November 6, 13, 20
•   December 4, 11

Priority deadline: September 15
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until September 26.
