As a Democratic poll watcher, you will be an official election process observer in voting sites before, during, and after voting on Election Day. Poll watchers may also be needed for vote-by-mail and provisional ballot processing.

Poll watchers help us ensure that every eligible voter is allowed to vote, providing our Voter Protection team insight into what's happening on the ground.

To be eligible to be a poll watcher, you must be registered to vote in Illinois and affiliated with the political party or the organization for which you are poll watching. Once you are authorized by the Democratic Party of Illinois to be a poll watcher, you would be issued credentials from your local election authority or the State Board of Elections.

After filling out this form, you will be contacted to attend a training with the Democratic Party of Illinois Voter Protection team.
