Creation & Live Performance Workshop with Maylee Todd
Co-presented by Gros Morne Summer Music
Time: 1:00 - 5:30 pm, Tuesday, September 17th
Location: EE Studios, 72 Harbour Drive
This workshop offers artists guidance with digital approaches to creation, project development and live performance. We will evaluate your current knowledge and interests in order to set your artistic goals. Participants will learn to perform and produce multi-media art with the use of digital programs Ableton and Madmapper. Through these digital tools, artists can create independently without the need for a recording studio, or a live band; reducing the cost of creation. This workshop will also help you organize, and execute your project efficiently. Introducing models and strategies that artists use to build their projects, such as strategic planning, team building, time management and funding.
Eastern Edge would like to thank Gros Morne Summer Music for co-presenting both a workshop and presentation from Maylee Todd during HOLD FAST 2019!
