Youth Suicide Assessment in Virtual Environments (Youth SAVE) Training Application
Thank you for your interest in Youth Suicide Assessment in Virtual Environments (Youth SAVE).
The interest in this training has been high and as a result the dates we planned for are ALL full. We would love for you to still apply and we will hold your information on a waitlist. More dates are being planned for SPRING 2021. We will get you into a training between now and June 2021. Please watch your email for dates and confirmation.
This training is designed for mental health professionals who work with children and youth. It is expected that participants will have an advanced level of education, skill, and/or experience in mental health with children and youth and are currently working with this population. With a focus on equity and anti-racism, participants will be equipped with tools and skills to assess, intervene, and safety plan in a virtual environment while working with a young person thinking of suicide.
If the above criteria are true for you, please complete this application form.
The training is 9 hours in total. There are two 1-hour pre-recorded webinars that are to be viewed independently (one pre-training and one post-training) and two 3.5-hour synchronous virtual sessions. Participants must be prepared to actively engage in all 9 hours of content and to use their video features throughout the training. Additionally, participants will be asked to complete brief evaluation activities.
After submitting this form, you will be contacted via email with further details.
