The After-School Coding Bootcamp is a program designed by Areeba Ali (Clarkstown South) in partnership with She Leads STEM INC. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedication to empowering future female scientists in STEM. Through this program, we hope to introduce middle school students in the community to coding, building confidence that will allow them to continue to explore computer science in high school. In addition, this program is a great opportunity for high school students to learn about teaching and leadership as volunteers.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for this program.
Volunteers MUST have a background in coding/computer science.
Volunteers will NOT work all days, but will work in shifts according to their individual availabilities.
Volunteers will receive a formal note with volunteering hours that can be used for National Honors Society, college applications..etc. They will also be eligible for a scholarship (in the works) through She Leads STEM INC.
Dates & Time are TBD. This is just an interest form, and we will continue to communicate details with you.
