The agenda will include a thorough analysis of culture and its purposes, a review of some of the main cultural variations and communication obstacles, the concepts of decentering, strangeness, familiarity, cultural shock and how to overcome it, as well as tips on navigating identity dynamics and dealing with stereotypes and prejudice.
The goal is to gain a better understanding of cultural dynamics and to improve outcomes of interpersonal communication in a multicultural environment.
The training will be supported by visual and reading material that will be shared with participants at the end.
