Day of Mindfulness - 24th January 2026
Dear friends,

Wake Up Copenhagen warmly invites you to practice with us at a day of mindfulness with the topic of

Reconnecting with Mother Earth through the 5 mindfulness trainings :)

Wake Up (young Buddhists and non-Buddhists for a healthy and compassionate society) is the movement in the Plum Village tradition for practitioners aged 18-35. All sanghas and friends of all ages are welcome to practice with us on this day of mindfulness! You can expect singing, walking, games, and a panel sharing on the 5 Mindfulness trainings. Please bring your own lunch and a cushion and blanket to sit on. There is also a café on the premises (https://traktoerstedetvestamager.dk/). Otherwise just bring yourself, your sangha friends and family and register below. Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity for a kids' program, but your little ones are very welcome to be a part of the day and there will be other family-friendly activities happening in the Naturcenter. We have 30 spaces available for this day of mindfulness.

Where: Ildsjælehuset (Naturcenter Amager), Granatvej 13, 2770 Kastrup (a short walk from Vestamager St.)
When: 24th of January 2026 from 10.00 - 15.00.

There is no price to attend and participate. However, we kindly ask you to practice dana (the practice of generosity) at this event and support the Wake Up sangha financially. The sangha is outgrowing its current space and we are raising funds to help us pay for a new location. Recommended donation for this day:

Normal - 150 DKK
Supporting price - 200 (if you have a little extra to give)
Supported price - 50 DKK (if you don't have much)

MobilePay 765528 to Interbeing Denmark (reference: WakeUp DoM). Thank you :)

We look forward to practicing with you!
