To our parents and guardians: This year, we are excited to continue strengthening our roots by building our students as readers through a focus on the use of decodable text (K-2) and explicit instruction across grades to support skill development and knowledge building. In mathematics, we will continue to support our students as problem solvers through the implementation of mathematical routines and protocols that promote sensemaking. We will also continue to build the social emotional skills of our learners through the implementation of MindUP to support our children in managing their emotions and developing strong relationships with staff and peers. Our dedicated building leaders, teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for a successful school year, and we are eager to see the remarkable achievements that lie ahead.
