Stay-at-home mums, retired citizens, students (9th std and above ), and anyone who can spare 2-3 hrs / week.

Online volunteering during COVID 19

Given the need for social distancing in the times of COVID19, we are offering  to those interested in interacting with children and want an  opportunity to teach them at a time mutually convenient for both volunteer and students.

A volunteer will be connected to one/two/group of  students, interaction to be twice/once  a week ideally lasting 45 minutes to one hour   Content and training will be provided by Sampoorna Shiksha alternatively volunteers can use their own contents.


What can you teach:

1. Any subject in the SSC curriculum for grades 9 & 10.  Teaching to be done in Hindi/Marathi/Tamil and English mix.
Referring to the curricullum preparing a lesson. Sending preparatory videos/worksheets for a concept for self study by student before embarking  on the lesson is advised.

2. Teaching English or any subject or activities students of various grades.

3. Creating PPT or  video lessons for online teaching support.

4. Conducting  Youth Empowerment Program. for 11th and 12th grade students.

5. Teaching art /craft/ engaging children through story telling and discussion

Mode to be used: Whats-app/Google meet/zoom/duo or regular voice calls.

Tools: Videos/PDFs/worksheets etc
