Corridor to the Coast - Walk to the Reforest Fest 2023!
The Reforest Fest is a tree planting celebration for everyone! We plant thousands of trees, attend interesting workshops, dance under the stars, enjoy delicious food, local music and good friends.

Here is some further information about the  Peacetree Pilgrimage to the event.
Dates:  2 - 10 April 2023 (may depart a day early if there is demand)
Venue: Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat in the Overberg

Since 2019, Greenpop has seen a growing number of guests motivated to journey to the festival by way of foot or bicycle wheel! This pilgrimage has seen walkers and riders come from around the Western Cape to travel independently of fossil fuels.

This year, walkers will focus their energy and bring further excitement and awareness to the mission! We expect to move through some incredible landscape to Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat, where we join the Reforest Fest 2023.

The Peacetree Pilgrimage walking group, led by Ayala Katz, will walk from Greyton in the Theewaterskloof all the way across the Overberg, into the Stanford Valley, and onward to the festival. It will be 5 days of ceremonial walking, wild camping, and sharing while learning from and appreciating the beauty of nature and the significance of the journeyThe entire experience will begin on 2 April in Greyton and end with a return shuttle from Bodhi Khaya on 10 April.
