Dear Potential Volunteer,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for RE:Frame Youth Arts Center!
At RE:Frame, we amplify the power of youth voices to drive change for climate justice, human rights, public health, and education. We cultivate a creative environment to promote leadership, shift narratives, and build healthy relationships between youth and adults. We are a collaborative home to Phoenix youth and their adult accomplices to holistically serve young people.
PLEASE NOTE: We at Re:Frame cannot work with someone who has any history of youth mistreatment of any kind (sexual abuse, harassment, violent crimes).
PROCESS TO VOLUNTEER:
- Complete this Volunteer Form
- Have a 30mins vibe check with a staff member
- If that feels good, attend a 2 hour training session which includes a space tour, ID photo and badge, and a presentation of our RE:Frame history, values, community agreement,
- A Fingerprint clearance card will be required if you are over 18 years old, and working directly with young people.
- As you await your Fingerprint Clearance Card background check completion, you can plan your volunteer opportunities with staff.
By volunteering with us you understand that you will not be paid for your labor. Our people are important to us so we will always nourish you with food, water and other necessities that does not include monetary compensation.
