NYCMM 2019 Vendor Application
Hello! We're really happy and grateful you want to be a vendor in our upcoming 2019 Market Season at the NYC Made Market!

NYCMM is a small arts & crafts fair, able to feature 20-25 vendors per day. Because of this, we need to carefully curate each event to make sure we do not have too many sellers of the same product/craft. We also aim to be fair and keep a high level of quality and design.

By filling out this form you'll be placed in our database for careful review. If approved, we will reach out with further participation instructions and details.

Keep in mind that we support and promote our local artists and crafters through all our online platforms, our social media networks as well as our Arts & Crafts Gallery Shop - BOUTIQUELOO. If not approved for these upcoming markets by NYCMM, don't get discouraged. All vendor applicants will be contacted by BOUTIQUELOO, for more and other attractive vending opportunities.

The NYC Made Market has the following dates for 2019:

Additional dates for the holiday season will be released later this year.

WHAT KINDS OF VENDORS DOES NYCMM LOOK FOR?
The NYC Made Market is an arts and crafts market who focuses on handmade and hand-designed items. As we are a family-friendly market, with a children's craft corner, we ask that all vendor material be at a PG-13 or lower rating.

IS THIS AN INDOOR EVENT?
Yes, it’s mostly an indoor event, however sometimes we might utilize our outdoor front yard for more available space and visibility if/when the weather permits.

WHEN IS THE SET-UP?
Set-up begins at 1:00 pm and doors to the public open at 2:00 pm. The event ends at 7:00 pm and breakdown is after.

WHAT TYPE OF SPACES DO YOU OFFER AND WHAT COMES WITH IT?
We offer Small 4 ft. Table and Big 6ft Table. Tables come with 1-2 chairs each. Tables will have 1-2 ft. free space in between. Please note that all your materials need to fit in the space included. If you’re bringing larger racks or displays with you, please inform us in advance.

WHAT ARE THE VENDOR TABLE PRICES?
Vendor table prices are calculated by table size and number of days. For the 2019 upcoming markets, please note the following vendor table prices:

A limited number of spots are available, up to 20 per day, depending on table size requests. Please contact us for special and/or larger space requests.

When booking please specify your needs. All tables and chairs are arranged by the time you arrive so all you need to do is set up your wares at your designated spot. Spots will be allocated and labeled when you arrive.

WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO AN ELECTRICAL OUTLET?
Yes, however you need to bring your own extension cord.

WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO WI-FI?
Yes, we provide Wi-Fi. Ask us for the wi-fi password when you come in.

ARE THERE FOOD AND DRINKS ON THE PREMISES?
Food and drinks are not provided. We do offer bottled water, coffee and limited selection of snacks and beverages to purchase.

WHERE IS THE NEAREST ATM MACHINE?
There are 2 ATM machines in the Delis located at the corner of 36th Avenue and 32nd Street right by the Market Location.

IS THERE A RESTROOM?
Yes, near the reception area.

IS THERE PARKING NEARBY?
On the weekends you can find parking easier than on weekdays around OKABALOO FunArtFaktory. There are street and meter parking spots around.

HOW DO I GET TO NEW YORK CITY MADE MARKET (NYCMM) BY TRAIN?
Take the N or W train to 36th Avenue Station. The walk from the train to OKABALOO FunArtFaktory is about a block away from the exit.

IS THERE A DUE DATE FOR SUBMITTING A VENDOR’S APPLICATION?
Vendor applications are rolling throughout the year until all spots are booked.

*Please do not reserve a date in advance without fully intending to book your spot. If you are unsure of your availability on a date you’d like to participate, your best bet is to reserve the space when you are confident that you can make it.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SPOT?
If and After you receive the Acceptance e-mail from us, you’ll need to follow the provided instructions and send in payment WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS so your space is booked and confirmed. Once payment has been received, you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation of your participation and further details. In the meantime, we encourage you to share your participation in NYC Made Market with your friends, family members, and through your social media channels.

!!!NOTE: If payment is not received within 3 business days from the approval notice date, you will be disqualified from participating in the market you were approved for, and you may be ineligible to participate in future markets.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A DATE I ALREADY BOOKED?
There are no refunds and/or credits issued on dates already booked and canceled after.

CAN I SHARE MY SPACE WITH ANOTHER VENDOR?
Yes, you can share your space with another vendor and split the cost in between; however, the vendor needs to be pre-approved by us. We need to know in advance that you will be sharing. You can put the request as an additional note including information about that vendor, when you fill the application, before submitting it.

CAN I LEAVE MY WARES AND/OR DISPLAYS AT THE MARKET?
You may leave your wares at any given market given you are vending both days of that market. You cannot leave wares at OKABALOO FunArtFaktory between markets (for example, between April and May).

CAN I HANG MERCHANDISE ON THE WALL?
You can hang merchandise on the wall using painter's tape, artist' tape or poster tape only. You cannot hammer nails or pins to the walls.

HOW IS THE SEATING ARRANGEMENT DONE?
We will select the seating arrangements for each vendor based on space availability and type of wares. We reserve the right to place vendors in wall slots (indoors & outdoors when possible) based on their products/displays. Note that each table in our space has excellent visibility.

WHAT IF I NEED TO LEAVE EARLY?
Vendors are strongly discouraged from leaving or packing up early before the market day is over. Leaving is incredibly disruptive to shoppers and disrespectful to other vendors. Thank you for understanding.
