Escape the Bookshelf!
Early one morning you wake up and rub your eyes. You know that when you open your eyes you’ll see your bedroom – the blue curtains that cover your windows and the big poster that features your favorite animal, spiders! Before you open your eyes, you reach over to grab your favorite stuffed animal, which also is a spider. But Sammy the Spider isn’t there.

You open your eyes to try to look for Sammy, but when you do, you realize you’re not in your bed! You’re lying on a wood floor, at least you think it’s the floor. You look around to try to figure out where in the world you are.

You sigh with relief when you see your bedroom window and your spider poster, but why do they look so big and so far away? That’s when you realize with horror that you have been shrunk!

You are only two inches tall! Not only are you not in your bed, you're not on the floor either. You are on your bookshelf, which is high up on the wall.

You see the spines of all of your favorite books to the left of you. They look huge! The books you usually hold in your hands are taller than you!

You look to the right and jump back in fear. You were right on the edge of the shelf and could have fallen to the floor below.

What in the world is going on?
