Collective Action for Wildfire Policy Change
The Alliance for Wildfire Resilience (AWR) is focused on creating fundamental shifts in wildfire policy and governance to support better wildfire outcomes across multiple sectors. AWR will build on the report, recommendations, and holistic approach of the Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission, as well as the interest in collective action from the broader wildland fire community to continue to advance policy change to address the rising challenge of wildfire management. AWR is staffed by Tyson Bertone-Riggs and Annie Schmidt.
