55th Annual Conference at York University, Toronto
The Association for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies (ASPHS) invites you to participate in our 55th Annual Conference to take place at York University, Toronto from April 22-25, 2026.  Participants are encouraged to submit panel proposals that engage with the conference’s theme: “The Politics of Home: Mobility, Memory, and Belonging in the Portuguese and Spanish Worlds.” Individual presentation proposals will also be accepted.

All proposals must include the email, name, institutional title and affiliation, and presentation title and outline (300-words) for each presenter.

Please submit your proposals via this form no later than October 1, 2025. Acceptance letters will be sent by November 2, 2025.
