Wellamotkin's Yuhwikihn Student Questionnaire
A simple questionnaire for prospective students of Yuhwikihn Medicine ("Way Walking") within the Sacred Order of Lehb of the Nemenhah People.

This form includes various questions I have used during my private interviews with prospective students to determine the compatibility of said student's belief systems with the principles of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn, and also their general receptiveness to these teachings in general.

The first mistake that any Tiheht (student) might make is to conflate the principles of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn with ordinances and teachings from other religious institutions and/or churches with which they may associate, as well as maintaining various presumptions about their mentor.  On more than one occasion, I have been forced to terminate a mentorship due to the student's unwillingness to receive the instruction without trying to correct and/or proselytize the teacher using a system of belief that overtly conflicts with the essential tenets of Nemenhah Religion.

Another common mistake that many prospective Tihehtsihm (students) make is to conflate Yuhwihkihn Medicine with various popularized New Age/Metaphysical beliefs and principles, such as so-called "Shadow Work," "Journeying," "Past Life Meditation/Therapy," "Akashic Record Recovery," "Light Channeling," and other forms of "Neo-Shamanism" to name only a few.  Prospective students should be forewarned that the our Pehli commonly refer to New Age/Metaphysical teachings as the "Religion of Self-Obsession."  Many of these questions are designed to target specific ideologies within modern-day New Age/Metaphysical schools of thought that present some of the biggest, most frustrating obstacles my students have had to face, beliefs and belief systems they have had to overcome, during the course of their instruction.

Prospective students should also be aware that one of the more challenging aspects of learning Yuhwihkihn Medicine is the unlearning of many popularly or traditionally held beliefs and principles which may bar them from actually achieving their goal, which is to be able to walk up to the proverbial threshold of the Way and knock on the door.  We Yuhwihkihn-Pehli have learned from hard experience that if someone approaches that threshold, requests entrance, but has a head full of false, misleading doctrines and/or false preconceptions about the Way and its purpose, the Haymehnay will simply not open the door.

Each question has been specially selected because it has objectively "correct" or "incorrect" answers based in traditional Nemenhah doctrine, current policy from the Pehli Council, and/or specific Wyaykihn ("revelations") received by our Pehli that have helped clarify and shape said policies and practices within our Order.

This form is intended to pre-empt and hopefully avoid some of the misunderstandings I have encountered over the years.  That being said, this form is not intended to test or determine the inherent "worthiness" of any person to receive instruction pertaining to the ancient Nemenhah religious practices we refer to as "walking upon the Way."  All human beings are born worthy to walk upon the Way, but whether or not they can learn to do so within the Nemenhah system of instruction is entirely up to them.

Please use this form to determine for yourself if the kind and type of instruction provided by our Pehli is appropriate for you in your sacred walk, or please feel free to use this form as a source for specific talking points if you'd like to discuss some of these subjects with one of our Pehli directly.

Thank you and Walk sacred,
Wellamotkin

While the Nemenhah People recognize our ancestral lineage through various traditional Abrahamic/Judaic bloodlines, the distinctly non-Abrahamic cosmology, principles, and practices of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn were originally brought to the ancient Nemenhah by the Peacemaker and so it is from that ancient religion (Nemenhah Religion) that modern-day Nemenhah derive our sacred religious beliefs, practices, and customs.

Yuhwikihn Medicine ("Way Walking") involves a focused study of the ways and religious praxis of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn in modern times, much of which does not harmonize with many traditional Judaic/Abrahamic views regarding creation and humankind's purpose within it.

Can you be comfortable being instructed by a Pehli (mentor) whose orientation is not based in Biblical Christian, Judaic, and/or other traditional Abrahamic philosophy and belief system?

All Nemenhah Pehli espouse a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to bigotry and/or sexist, misogynist, interracial, elitist, inter-religious, and/or homophobic hate speech of any kind in the performance of their sacred duties within the Order of Lehb.

Can you commit to respecting this policy for the duration of your tutelage, regardless of personal beliefs on any of the subjects listed above?

Before seeking services and/or ministry from one of their Pehli, the ancient Nemenhah, as part of their commitment to the Pillar of Consecration, would first make an offering in the spirit of Sacred Giveaway.

Sacred Giveaway offerings were to be made from out of the person or family's surplus (i.e., income or resources remaining after the person or family's essential needs were met), in a form or amount determined by the individual, not the Pehli.

In this way, the one requesting services ensured that the Pehli would not experience hardship arising from taking time away from making a living in order to carry out his/her sacred duties in ministry.

Modern-day Nemenhah uphold and promote this tradition.

Will you commit to sustain and support your Pehli mentor with Sacred Giveaway for the duration of your tutelage?

Yuhwihkihn-Pehli (Way-Walker Mentors/Instructors) are devoted adherents to the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn as provided in Grandfather Ohuhgohuh's Book of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn, as illuminated by our ancestors throughout the Sacred Records, and as further illuminated through Wyaykihn (revelation) received by our Pehli in modern times.

To that effect, regardless of biblical, Judaic and/or other traditional Abrahamic or proto-Abrahamic, or New Age/Metaphysical accounts, writings and customs on the subject, Yuhwihkihn-Pehli do not subscribe to the belief that Satan/Lucifer, demons, devils, malevolent spirits, "dark gods or other entities," "negative energy attachments," and etc., have any power whatsoever over the minds and hearts of humans and/or the forces of Nature following the titular Subjugation of Tsuhksehknwiht as recounted in the Book of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn.

Adherents of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn understand that, though the teachings of the "Adversary" described in the "Two Lodges" relation within the Nemenhah Creation Story have been preserved and perpetuated within human memory and culture for tens of thousands of years, we also believe, as we have been taught by our own Sacred Records, that the "fallen ones" (those that followed the Adversary during the great conflict in Heaven) have been barred from "open communion with the children of men" from the moment the Adversary was "cast out" for the last time by holy messengers of the Aylohhihm during the birth of human civilization.

Adherents of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn firmly believe that it is only through human faith, willful (conscious) use of one's own noble agency, and abuse of the Gift of the Haymehnay that such creatures may be conjured, granted any degree of power, and permitted any influence over the summoner.  We believe in miracles and in the ministry of mighty spirits, but we decry any belief in black magic, curses, demonic possession, or the power of demons to directly or indirectly effect humans and nature directly as false doctrine arising from the lies of the Adversary (the "Father of Lies") to First Man and First Woman in the Book of the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn.

Question: While a Nemenhah Pehli is forbidden from dictating the personal religious beliefs of any person, can you be comfortable being instructed by a Pehli (mentor) whose devotion and commitment to the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn precludes belief in devils, demons, black magic, curses, and demonic possession?

While comparative religious discussions in general are welcome by our Pehli, when conducted with all due courtesy, attempts to "teach" the teacher, or "correct" the mentor's dissertation during class, with teachings and/or doctrines that originate outside Nemenhah Culture and the Tuhhuhl Nuhmehn is considered to be deeply dishonorable.

Can you commit to respecting this policy for the duration of your tutelage, regardless of personal belief and/or experience?
