Chibi Chibi Con 2019 Artist Registration
Registration closes December 10th at 8PM.

If you're an artist looking to table at Chibi Chibi Con 2019, you're in the right place!

We consider "artists" merchants who have personally made or designed 80% or more of their stock. Vendors, or merchants doing mostly resale (in that they have personally made or designed 20% or less of their stock), should sign up here: https://goo.gl/forms/NgjSi7qLVOmCblSa2

Artists wishing to share a table in the AA should apply as a "studio." Studios submit a portfolio, table picture or mockup, and category that includes work from both interested parties. These will be evaluated as we would a single artist. If you find yourself selling art created by more than three artists at your table, you might not qualify as an artist, but as a vendor, and should apply as such. More info in our AA policy: https://chibichibicon.com/policies/aavh/.

Artists must be at least 16 to table with us; artists under the age of 18 must have the approval of a parent or guardian.

This year we are ONLY selling 6-foot tables to artists. All tables will be priced at $40. Table payments will be made online, and must be paid by the two week deadline from con (Jan 26th, 2019).

CCC 2019 will be held from noon to 11pm of February 9th, 2019. Setup for the AA begins at 10 AM, the AA opens at noon, and it closes at 8PM.

Applications will be evaluated by partial jury and partial first-come-first-serve.

Upon completion of this form you will receive an email noting that your application has been received. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS A CONFIRMATION OF A TABLE. Please check email regularly for a confirmation of approval or waitlist.

Please READ OUR AA POLICY before filling out this form. Our policy can be found here: https://chibichibicon.com/policies/aavh/

Your answer
Name for Table *
Your business name. If you have none, please type your name again.
Your answer
Phone Number
Optional--this is good to include so that we can contact you rapidly (such as when we are moving folks up from the waitlist to a table, or there's a problem with someone's application).
Your answer
Portfolio
This should contain several examples of recent work and merch that you're proud of. If you're applying as a studio, please provide a portfolio link with the work that represents all your members. We use these to quickly check and make sure artists are con-ready, prepared, with professional work to sell. We have many applications to go through in a short time with our team of volunteer panelists, so please make your portfolios clear and easy to navigate, with your best work at the forefront.

This link MUST be to a Tumblr tag, Instagram account, public Google Drive folder, Deviantart GALLERY FOLDER, Imgur, Storenvy, Tictail, Bigcartel, other online store sites, or personal website.

Do:
- Showcase a variety of the work you're most proud of
- Provide pictures of physical merchandise that are close up, well lit, and clear
- Provide minimum 10 pieces of work or, if using a larger portfolio (which is totally fine), make sure your best work is at the front

Do NOT:
- Use Facebook, a Facebook page, Deviantart ACCOUNT PAGE, Dropbox, or your Twitter
- Provide ONLY table shots or shots of merch from a distance
- Use blurry and/or dark pictures
- Provide a link we are locked out of (for example, you link to a google drive folder we don't have permission to view)
- Provide a link to an account shared with images of work you don't plan to sell; we DO check the whole portfolio against our plagiarism guidelines (http://chibichibicon.com/plagiarism)

Link to an online portfolio: *
Your answer
Provide a link to a photograph of a previous table setup or a mock-up. *
Please link directly to the picture--if we have to go digging for it in a large portfolio or site it will not be considered. For first-timers a mock setup is required.
Your answer
Categories
What category do your wares belong to? *
Please choose the category either the majority of your wares belong to or that you would consider your main draw. Edible items are prohibited from being sold in the AA.
Are you a student of The Evergreen State College? *
As part of our commitment to helping grow the local artist community, we have a small amount of tables set aside for current TESC students.
If accepted, would this be your first time tabling in an artist alley? *
In the spirit of Chibi Chibi Con's legacy as a first-timers convention, we have a small amount of tables set aside for first time applicants.
Accommodations
Is there anyone else registering for our AA you'd like to be seated next to if accepted? Please use their business name(s). Leave blank if no.
We will do our best to honor your seating requests, but can make no guarantees.
Your answer
Would you prefer a wheelchair accessible table?
Our venue is wheelchair accessible, but some tables are more easily accessed than others. Please select "yes" if you or a helper may be in a wheelchair at the time of the convention.
