Volunteer and Staff system
  • 1You must be at least 18+ years old by the date of our convention to volunteer. 

  • You must be a resident in the Las Vegas valley to volunteer, no out of state applicants at this time.

  • You must have reliable transportation to the convention premises on the dates of the convention.
The Sin City Anime Volunteer and Staff system are intertwined in a teamwork focused environment that delivers great service with excellent care to all of our guests.

There are several levels of compensation for volunteering and staffing with us, all depending on level and commitment which include: compensated badge(s), lunch meal(s) each day of the convention, special access events, hotel lodging, SCA swag, and more to be announced. None of the compensation is guaranteed, but will be agreed upon by SCA owners and the applicant upon volunteer/staff agreement.

Upon acceptance at our discretion, you will receive an email detailing next steps which include: interview session(online or in person), training days, team preparation days, and some celebratory events as well.

CONVENTION STAFFING DEPARTMENTS
Marketing:  The Marketing department is responsible for promoting the convention, capturing our event content, and establishing our presence on social media and in the anime community.

Staff Operations: The Staff Operations team is responsible for managing our massive team of staff and volunteers.

Program Events:  The Program Events department handles the planning and execution of all events, games, meetups, performances, and the overall schedule at the convention.  

Exhibitors:  The Exhibitors department is responsible for managing the various artists and vendors that purchase space to sell at our convention.

Registration:  The Registration department is responsible for managing the attendee registration and badge pickup process.

Production:  The Production department handles the technical aspects of the convention, including stage management, audiovisual, lighting, and decoration.

Guest Relations: The Guest Relations department is responsible for managing the special guests of honor like our voice actors, performers, cosplay guests, etc.
