PAPER PRESENTATIONS:(Only original work done by the presenting person can be submitted) LAYOUT FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS* The abstract for paper presentation should be submitted online in the following layout - Personal details – full name, full address, phone number, email, institute - Title - Aims and Objectives - Material and Methods - Results - Conclusion - Clinical relevance / take home message* The abstract limit is 250 words (excluding the details of authors, institutions and the title of the abstract). RULES FOR THE PAPER PRESENTATION:- Paper presentations will be powerpoint or keynote presentations of 7 minutes duration with 2 minutes for questions and discussion. Kindly adhere to the timings.- Patient confidentiality should be protected. No names, hospital numbers or any other identifying information can appear in the presentation.- Presentation can be structured in the same format as the abstract.
a) Scientific exhibits: * These will be based on original studies done by presenter. The abstract should be submitted online in the same format as that of oral scientific paper presentations (please see above).
b) Educational exhibits: * This category will include presentations which highlight the spectrum of imaging findings in a disease entity, review radiological signs, radiological-pathological correlation or describe a radiological procedure.
* The abstract for educational exhibit or interesting case should be submitted online in the following format – - Personal details – full name, full address, phone number, email, institute - Title - Aims and Objectives - Contents: Imaging findings / procedure / radiological signs - Summary and teaching points
* Final poster must have a minimum of 15 slides and maximum 20 slides* It must include at least 5 cases that are representative of the topic.
* Individual cases of teaching value can be sent.* Abstract can be sent mentioning the interesting case. * The power point for display in conference should have maximum of 5 slides to be presented as a quiz format. * Authors must submit five questions and answers as part of their presentation to reinforce educational value. * The authors should give permission for IACI to share the presentations as educational material on the IACI website / workspace.
There is no limit to the number of posters or papers that can be submitted. Best in each category will be given a prize – 2 prizes for paper presentation, 2 for educational poster, 2 for scientific poster and 1 for interesting case.
